Our approach to a nonconformity
Nonconformities are deviations from agreed specifications or quality requirements.
Quality is most important to us. If deviations (non-conformities) are discovered during or after production, we have a well-organized process to resolve them quickly and effectively. On this page we explain our process, from the notification of a nonconformity to its correction and quality control.
Our process
Securely and clearly handling non-conformities
Notification
We confirm the report and discuss possible solutions.
Inspection
We record details such as the batch number and specific deviations.
Cause Analysis
This helps us not only to resolve the anomaly, but also to prevent its recurrence.
Corrections
Depending on the cause, we produce again or offer an alternative.
Updates
We provide transparency and assurance about the progress of correction.
Prevention
Measures implementation to prevent future deviations.
Our roadmap
1. Reporting non-conformities.
Once you report a nonconformity, we get to work immediately. We confirm the report and discuss possible solutions with you. You receive information about next steps and our team gathers the necessary data to address the problem.
- Free return shipping: If the discrepancy cannot be resolved internally, we provide a quick and free return shipping. This makes the process as smooth as possible for you.
2. Inspection and documentation
Our quality department performs a detailed inspection to determine the extent and cause of the deviation. This includes:
- Comprehensive documentation: We record details such as the batch number and specific deviations, and we analyze the potential impact on the final product.
- Problem analysis: Through thorough analysis, we can specifically determine what corrective measures are needed.
In this way, we properly record every aspect of the deviation and can establish a clear plan of action.
3. Cause analysis and correction
After the inspection, our quality manager performs a root cause analysis (e.g., root cause analysis) to discover where the problem came from. This helps us not only to solve the deviation, but also to prevent recurrence. Based on this analysis, we take corrective actions, such as:
- Reproduction or process modification: Depending on the severity and cause of the deviation, we produce new parts or modify the production process.
- Records in ERP system: All findings and solutions are recorded in our ERP system so that we are better prepared in future production runs and learn from previous problems.
4. Validation of corrections.
To verify that the measures taken are effective, our quality department performs a second inspection on the corrected parts. This can be a new First Article Inspection (FAI) or a spot check. In doing so, we ensure that the product meets the original specifications and that all deviations have been resolved.
5. Customer updates and delivery date.
Throughout the process, we will keep you informed of the progress and expected delivery date.
- Solution updates: Once we have a solution, we will inform you of the steps taken and the scheduled delivery date of the updated or new parts.
- Adjustments in Delivery Date: If the delivery date changes, we will notify you immediately so you always know where you stand. We do our best to speed up the delivery time whenever possible.
With these regular updates, we provide transparency and certainty about the progress of the correction.
6. Preventive actions for future nonconformities.
The validation is followed by an evaluation in which we implement measures to prevent future deviations. This can mean:
- Documentation updates: We adjust process documentation and work instructions based on the correction made.
- Preventive maintenance: our machines and tools are calibrated regularly to prevent future deviations.
- Enhanced controls: Where necessary, we add additional checkpoints to detect future discrepancies early.
With this proactive approach, we continuously improve and guarantee the quality of our production.
Transparency and communication
Throughout the correction process, we ensure open and regular communication so that you are always informed of progress.
We strive to inform you quickly and clearly about the solution and expected delivery date. You can count on a personal approach and quick follow-up, so you know exactly where you stand.
