We offer an automated FAI template that streamlines the inspection process. This tool helps capture FAI data efficiently and error-free.

You can enter your own dimensions, tolerance classes (e.g. H7), quantities and required measuring instruments.

The template automatically calculates the sample size according to ISO 2859-1 and provides instant pass/fail feedback per measurement.

FAI process and standards
During the FAI, we focus on parts with critical tolerances. We determine the number of parts to be inspected according to the ISO 2859-1 sampling standard, depending on the batch size.
Important inspection tools include:
- Digital three-point micrometers for diameters of 10-50 mm
- Go/No-Go H7 set for diameters from 3-12 mm
- Digital calipers for other dimensions
All measurements are recorded in a computerized FAI template, which ensures consistent and accurate documentation.
Calibrated and certified measuring equipment
Our measuring instruments are calibrated according to ISO/IEC 17025. This ensures that every measurement is reliable. Calibration certificates are available upon request.

Our FAI reports focus specifically on high tolerance parts and include:
- Dimension measurements of all critical features
- Material Certificates:
- 2.2 Certificate: standard declaration based on supplier data
- 3.1 Certificate: Material manufacturer’s certificate for additional traceability.

We can customize FAI documentation to meet specific customer requirements, including verification or approval documentation as needed.
Digital availability
FAI documentation can be provided digitally. Currently, we provide it via direct transfer, and we are working on a cloud option for easy access.
