Our sustainable packaging principles

Batchforce uses five basic principles to make our packaging as sustainable as possible:

1. Reduce redundant material

We optimize the packaging of your products to leave as little space as possible in the box, which minimizes the use of padding material. By using just the right amount of material, we reduce carbon emissions from transportation and reduce waste. This means we ensure that every shipment is packed efficiently and responsibly.

2. Replacement of environmentally unfriendly materials

We work with environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional plastic packaging. An important part of this is the reinforced paper tape with ribbon thread that we use to securely seal boxes. This tape offers the same strong adhesion as plastic tape, but is fully recyclable and biodegradable. In addition, we use paper bubble wrap and other sustainable materials that replace the need for plastic.

3. Use of renewable resources

Paper bubble wrap

The paper bubble wrap we use offers the same protection as traditional bubble wrap, but is made entirely of paper, making it 100% recyclable. This material is ideal for wrapping fragile products and prevents scratches and other damage.

Reinforced paper tape with ribbon thread

Our reinforced paper tape with ribbon thread reliably seals heavy boxes without the use of plastic. The tape is reinforced with linen thread for extra strength, and can be recycled just like cardboard, further increasing the sustainability of our packaging.

Certifications and labels

• TUV OK Compost (Home and Industrial): This label indicates that our compostable materials are biodegradable in industrial and household compost conditions.
• Ecolabel and Blauer Engel: These European labels guarantee environmentally friendly products that have minimal environmental impact throughout their life cycle.
• 100% Recycled: Our recycled packaging materials bear this symbol, indicating that they are made entirely from recycled resources.
• Recyclable: Products with this symbol are easily recyclable, so they can be reprocessed after use without creating waste.
